I
have been making Enuff Z'nuff mixed tapes since Strength came out in '91
(man, do I feel old...that was 8 years ago already!). At first, of course,
I would alternate songs with another band such as my wife's favorite Extreme
Z'nuff.
Now I can make whole
tapes due to the amount of material Enuff Z'nuff has on their own. In fact,
I have three completely different mixes that I listen to quite a bit in
the car or at work, and because EZN is able to switch styles with the drop
of a hat, each tape has its' own unique feel. My favorite is my latest
one, recorded after I brought Paraphernalia
home.
The second side is my favorite; it starts off as absolutely the best driving
tape I own, and then turns more sedate without the listener even realizing
it. Here's the mix if you'd like to make a copy of your own (use a 90 minute
cassette):

Strength doesn't
appear much in this mix, because it plays such a prominant role on the other
mixes; the whole album is usable because they're all solid tunes spanning
a broad spectrum of styles. If you are interested in how other people use
Enuff Z'nuff in mixes, I encourage you to visit The
Art Of The Mix, a site that is extremely addictive.
